NATO Standards, Quality and Interchangeability — Defence Topic Hub

Standards are the quiet machinery of alliance warfare. STANAGs (Standardization Agreements), AQAPs (Allied Quality Assurance Publications) and the AASTP explosives-safety series decide whether one nation's shell can safely leave another nation's gun, and who certifies the factory in between.
